The mission of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center is to provide a historically restored environment to promote cultural arts for current and future generations of citizens of all ages in the Town of Old Saybrook, Connecticut and the surrounding communities. The Center will promote the general economic health of the Town by attracting visitors, creating jobs, and generating revenue for business.

   You knew Katharine Hepburn as an icon. Perhaps you knew her, too, as a lifelong Old Saybrook resident who adored her hideaway from Hollywood. Now, you can honor her local and international legacy by joining the effort to turn the old Town Hall into the new Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center & Theatre, a non-profit venue that will secure Old Saybrook’s historic place among Connecticut’s most creative and vibrant communities and, as Kate would have wanted, provide a stage for new and well-recognized talent.
